美国独立摇滚乐队 Grandaddy 于1992年成立加州，由 Jason Lytle、Aaron Burtch、Tim Dryden、Jim Fairchild 和 Kevin Garcia 组成。乐队最早是自己发行专辑，之后曾签约美国威尔唱片公司以及英国 V2 的子厂牌 Big Cat，并与 V2 签订独家协议。全球巡演以及频繁的新闻报道使他们在2003年发行的专辑《Sumday》销量大增。乐队在2006年解散之前制作了另一张EP和一张专辑《Just Like the Fambly Cat》。继2012年短暂的现场重聚之后，Grandaddy 于2017年全面回归，并于2017年3月3日通过 30th Century Records/ Columbia Records 发行十年来的第一张新专辑《Last Place》。
